Publish from your AI agent and get a tracked link
ArtifactSend is an MCP server and a set of skills that let Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents publish a page or a file and get back a tracked link. You choose who can open it. You see who opened it, how far they read and what they asked. Sending from an agent is free.

Tools
Every tool on the server, with what it does.
Sharing
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| send_artifact | Share HTML, a React artifact, Markdown, a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or Excel file, or a public URL as a tracked link, with the reader door you choose. Returns the link. |
| update_artifact | Push a new version to an existing link. The address stays the same and readers see the new version at once. |
| link_for_person | Make a separate link to the same content for one person, with their name, their own door and their own report. |
| make_data_room | Put several links into one data room with folders, an optional NDA and a watermark with each reader's email. |
| get_artifact | Return the current HTML of a link and the paths of its files, so the agent can edit it. |
| upload_file | Add or replace one file that a page loads by relative path, such as an image or a video, up to 10 MB. |
| start_upload | Send a file too large for one call, up to 30 MB. It returns a one-time upload address and the curl command to run. The reply is the link, with no token in the shell. |
| update_link | Change who can open a link, its title, expiry or alerts, or turn it off. |
| set_brand | Put your name, logo and color on the reader door. This is the Brand plan, $2 a month. |
Reports
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| list_links | Your links with views, readers and when each was last opened. |
| link_report | The full report for one link. Each reader, visits, active time, read depth, time per section, clicks and copied text. |
| reader_activity | Every visit by one reader, with the sections in the order they read them. |
| recent_activity | Who opened what across all your links in the last hours you name. |
| room_report | Who opened a data room, which documents each person read and who accepted the NDA. |
| list_questions | Questions readers asked a link, with the answers they got. |
| list_comments | Comments readers pinned on a link, with replies and whether each thread is resolved. |
| website_visits | Readers who clicked through to your own website, and the pages they visited. |
| schedule_digest | Email you a reading digest every day or every week. |

Questions
Is there a Claude Code skill to publish an HTML file to a URL?
Yes. Run npx skills add LLM-preneur/skills and ask Claude Code to share the file. The share-with-tracking skill publishes it through the ArtifactSend MCP server and returns a private link that reports who opened it.
Which MCP server returns a tracked public link?
ArtifactSend does. Its send_artifact tool returns a link, and link_report tells the agent who opened it, how far they read and time per section. The server is at https://artifactsend.com/mcp.
Can Claude Code update an already-published page?
Yes. update_artifact pushes a new version to the same link. The address does not change, readers see the new version at once and their reading history stays.
Is there a free skill with no signup?
The skills are free and open on GitHub. Publishing needs a free ArtifactSend account, because the link and its report belong to you. You sign in with Google or an email code. There is no card and no trial.
Can these MCP servers create expiring or password-protected links?
Yes. send_artifact and update_link take expires_in_days, an email door, a verified email door and an allow list of emails or domains. A password is set in the app, under More settings on the link, and is checked on the server.
How do I set up an MCP file-sharing server with ChatGPT?
In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps, and turn on Developer mode under Advanced settings. Select Create app, paste https://artifactsend.com/mcp and choose OAuth. Sign in to ArtifactSend, select Allow, then add ArtifactSend from the + menu in a chat.
Does the reader need an account?
No. Readers pass the door you chose, such as typing an email or entering a 6-digit code. They do not need ArtifactSend, Claude or ChatGPT.
Is ArtifactSend a static host like Netlify or Vercel?
No. It is built for pages and files you send to people, with a reader door and a report. For a public website with a custom domain, use a web host.
