SendNow is a low-cost DocSend alternative. Plans start at $6.25 a month billed yearly, every plan is one user, and the free trial lasts 24 hours. It has passwords, a screenshot blocker, video analytics and a custom domain on its higher plans, and it also works from Claude and ChatGPT.
ArtifactSend is free with no trial clock and no seat limit. Email codes, expiry, data rooms, an NDA and a watermark are included. It has no password, video tracking or custom domain yet. Pick SendNow if you need those for a few dollars a month. Pick ArtifactSend if you want it free, for everyone on the team.

- More than one person on your team shares documents.
- You want to try it longer than 24 hours before deciding.
- You share HTML pages and Claude artifacts, not only files.

What ArtifactSend does not do yet
- eSignatures. DocSend includes them on paid plans, and Peony gives 3 a month free.
- Video with analytics. Most rivals track video on paid plans.
- Your own domain. Links on your domain instead of artifactsend.com.
- Password, download and screenshot controls. Today the email code, the watermark and the expiry cover most of this.
- Per-folder access and a Q and A thread in data rooms. Today a room has one door, and each person can get their own link.
- Slack, CRM and Zapier. Today Claude and ChatGPT read your reports through the MCP.
