## Facts
- Price: free for links, readers, reader gates, analytics and the MCP. Later AI features will be pay per use. No seats, no trial.
- Reader gates: open link, email (fake and throwaway addresses refused), 6-digit email code, Google sign-in, allow lists of emails or domains, expiry.
- Analytics: readers by email, visits, active reading time, read depth, time per section, click map, copied text, rage clicks, visit replay.
- MCP server at https://artifactsend.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, bearer token): send_artifact, list_links, link_report, reader_activity, recent_activity, update_link, schedule_digest.
- Compared with DocSend (DocSend public plans, October 2026): DocSend has no free plan and starts at $10 per user a month; email verification needs its Advanced plan ($150 a month); it does not host interactive HTML artifacts.
- Coming: PDF, Word and Excel uploads; data rooms; custom domains.
