## Can I share a Word doc as a link?

Yes. OneDrive, SharePoint and Google Drive share Word files as links. ArtifactSend does too, and adds a reader door, an alert when someone opens it, and time on each page.

## How do I turn a docx into a link?

1. Go to artifactsend.com and sign in with Google or an email code.
2. Drop the .docx file in. ArtifactSend turns it into pages that read like the document.
3. Choose a door, such as an email, and turn on the first-open alert.
4. Copy the link and paste it into your email.

If Claude or ChatGPT wrote the proposal, ask it to send the file with ArtifactSend. It sends the .docx as a document and returns the link.

## Can I restrict the link to specific email addresses?

Yes. Add an allow list of emails or a company domain, such as @acme.com, and choose an email code or Google sign-in. People outside the list cannot open it.

For one buyer, make a separate link for each person. Each has their name on it and its own report.

## Can I track opens without the recipient creating an account?

Yes. On ArtifactSend the reader types an email, or enters a 6-digit code, and reads. No account is needed, and you see them by email.

In OneDrive and SharePoint, the file card can show who viewed a file to people with access, when the administrator allows it, according to Microsoft. It does not show time on each page.

## Should I convert the DOCX to PDF before sharing?
